        Compassion

Navigating the world of special needs can be extremely challenging. At MCC we are committed to supporting our families in their childs educational AND social-emotional development both in school and at home.

      MCC was Built on Necessity.

MCC was founded in 2007 by Perrie and Tom Gelb, with the goal of providing high quality educational and therapeutic services to children with autism and other developmental conditions. Perrie, a licensed and clinically certified speech pathologist, was inspired to create MCC after observing firsthand the lack of quality services available for children with special needs, and especially with autism in the New York City public schools. Together with her husband Tom, an attorney, they opened MCC with four students and 15 educators and clinical staff. They developed MCC's unique transdisciplinary ABA model which includes speech, occupational therapy and social skills programming to children with autism and other developmental conditions. Today, MCC provides services to over 110 students and employs and trains over 200 educators, clinical therapists, and support staff.
