Crossbridge at MCC was designed to “bridge the gap” between restrictive settings involving intensive instruction and support throughout the day and less restrictive, more traditional classroom settings. These classrooms include eight students, one lead teacher, and three ABA instructors.
With an emphasis on group instruction, opportunities to participate in a variety of social skills activities, and a strong home-school connection, our team of professionals develops interventions tailored to meet the diverse needs of each child and family.
Drawing on a foundation in applied behavior analysis (ABA) and using MCC’s Transdisciplinary Behavioral Model℠ in which classroom learning, speech therapy, occupational therapy, inclusion and enrichment activities are fully integrated with one another, the Crossbridge at MCC model addresses the wide-ranging needs of our students and families in a supportive and engaging environment.
